Black Palette is expanding our location. We’re looking for 5 - 10 artist to start May 1st as well as Receptionist / Booking agents to start ASAP. Don’t miss your opportunity.

Percentage Commission option.
60% / 40% split in favor of the artist.
Evening shift is the most favorable as we have a lot of late night walk-ins that we already can’t accommodate. Stay late and you’ll reap the benefits.
Must learn how to work with others. No douchebags, toxic personalities, racists, sexists, egotistical gaslighters, and must be drug free.
Must be active on social media and be willing to always improve as an artist, individual and as an entrepreneur.
Well rounded portfolio is a must but niche’s are always great.
Must love to be an artist outside of just tattooing.

Rent Based
Submit application to discuss rent.
Must have established clientele and book own clientele utilizing our system (Acuity & Gmail). Reason being is we like to know your schedule if we have inquiries for you.
You keep all your money you book yourself with the exception of a 30% commission to the studio if client books through studio pending artist approval.
Mainly an independent position.
Basic supplies provided. Tattoo supplies (Needles, black ink, glide etc.) provided at distribution pricing.

Must be licensed in the state of Hawaii, mature, professional, CLEAN AND SANITARY, and be an all around good person. We’re looking for Black Palette family members, not co-workers. Just submit your application at the bottom of the page and have your portfolio ready!
Receptionist / Booking Agent
This position is not just just taking care of our clients, but building relationships with them that keeps them coming back. This position is the face of the business, therefore need to be a fantastic people person that is able to provide top notch customer service experience without fail. A big role in this position is sales, as it is the job to increase sales and promote the business.
There are a lot of expectations with this position and many tasks to be performed each day. A few of these are:
Data Entry
Communicating with the other receptionists.
All artist schedules, including adjusting schedules and booking new appointments
Answering phone calls
Emails
Helping clients in person
Answering questions about tattoos, aftercare, shop policies, etc.
Handling the point of sale ( ringing up clients, taking deposits for tattoo appointments, etc.)
We are looking for someone who is skilled in areas such as:
Time management

Computer skills
Public relations
Sales
Attention to detail
Problem solving/conflict management
multi-tasking when neccessary
